Regrets...

Decisions! That's what life is all about. Every act a person performs is a decision being made. And every decision made has a consequence. We all have made decisions in our lives, some more important than others. We all have also made poor decisions that we've regretted later.

We are all aware how miserable the feeling is when we find out that our decision hasn't worked out like we wanted it to.  How many times we think how things would be had we decided on doing things differently. I for one have made enough decisions to regret some of them. If I start dwelling on it, I know it would take more than one night.

However one of the things that I've learned during my brief spell in this world is that past is what we've lived present is what we are living. I've learned that its better to work on your present than to dwell on your past. I've learned that nothing can be achieved by thinking of your mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes, the clever thing to do is to own it up and try not to make it again.

Gunners low on ammo?

The match at Stamford Bridge, according to the frenchman, is likely to be an indicator on how Arsenal's campaign turns out. The usually calm and cool Arsene Wenger is rarely known to add hype to the top four clashes. However Arsene said “It will certainly give an indication of the strengths of the two sides, that is for sure. It’s not too early because it is a confrontation between two top teams. I don’t think it is a decisive game but it is a good indicator about the strengths in the Premier League.”

However Arsenal suffered a major blow when their skipper and talisman Cesc Fabregas was ruled out of sunday game. Fabregas suffered a hamstring injury after scoring a bizarre goal, which was later evened out by a Darren Bent strike. Initially Wenger gave Fabregas a 50:50 chance, but later admitted that his skipper was out of the top-of-the-table clash with Chelsea

This means a major blow for Arsenal. As they now go into the game with a fair few of their top-ranked superstars out with injury. The list includes Manuel Almunia (elbow), Kieran Gibbs (calf), Thomas Vermaelen (Achilles), Nicklas Bendtner (groin), Aaron Ramsey (leg), Theo Walcott (ankle) and Robin van Persie (ankle).

The supple silver lining comes in the from of Abou Diaby returning to the team after his ankle problem.

Chelsea have their full strength squad available for selection, with the exception of Frank Lampard.

Arsene's Skipper Woes

"It looks like a 50:50 but a 50:50 balancing on the negative side."

We all want the Arsenal skipper to play a part in the top-of-the-table clash at Stamford Bridge. Anybody who knows the game knows about the thrill of watching the 23-year-old superstar from Catalonia. We all know how Fabregas can turn the game with a single moment of magic, be it a thumping drive from outside of the box or a through ball effortlessly threaded through the opposition defense.  But Wenger is aware of the risks involved in rushing his players back from injury. The Arsenal has seen the likes of Tomas Rosicky and Robin van Persie returning after a spell on the sidelines, only to be plagued by recurrence of the injuries.

So, unsurprisingly, Wenger was very careful as to what he promised his Arsenal faithful as he faced the press today. When asked about the possible return of Cesc Fabregas, Arsene replied very tactfully saying that Fabregas might not be back against Chelsea. From Arsene's comments it can be deduced that Fabregas is training now with the first team and will be likely to have a medical on saturday which will determine the Arsenal line-up against Chelsea. "I don't know", said the frenchman, talking to Arsenal TV, "It looks like 50:50 but a 50:50 balancing on the negative side. I will find out on saturday morning."

Arsenal fans are acutely aware of Cesc Fabregas's tendency of declaring himself fit prematurely. Last year , in December, Fabregas returned from a hamstring injury as a substitute against Aston Villa to score two goals and then be carried off after worsening his hamstring. Fabregas similarly forced Arsenal to play him against Barcelona earlier this year despite having a bruised bone. After getting into a slight tangle with Carlos Puyol, the Arsenal captain broke his leg.  Arsenal fans argue that it was the turning point of the last campaign and resulted in Arsenal finishing 3rd behind Chelsea and Manchester United.

Hey everyone,

Thoughts, vague and pale like ghosts - Jean Rhys

Interesting thought by Miss Rhys. Though her writing indicates that her thoughts were more than mere vague ghost.

Writing is a passion of mine. I do it as a medium to vent out my thoughts, because like Miss Rhys my thoughts are vague and pale unless I put them on a paper through pen ( make that on a screen through a keyboard ).

I've created this blog to express my thoughts out. I've found that a person feels better once he has let out all of his thoughts and shared them with someone. And even better if he finds that someone shares his school of thought.

Paul McCartney says " I never try to make a serious social comment". Sir Paul said it for me too. You'll never find me attempting anything serious here. This is just to put my thought into shape, clear my head and hopefully get to know some other people who think like me.
